RAYMOND SPEIGHT created the topic: Fuel Pressure - relative to manifold pressure
As previously covered - my fuel pressure, from the sender location upstream of the filter, shows a drop on engine start up. This is due to the injector pressure controller which is maintaining 3bar with reference to manifold pressure whereas my measurement is relative to ambient air pressure. There is a hose from the engine mounted pressure controller to the inlet manifold which I could tap into. However space is tight, is there a more convenient way to pick up manifold pressure?

That should not be necessary as the fuel pressure should be displayed by your EMU (Stock, Garmin, Dynon,...)
as there is a calculation necessary: fuel pressure = absolute Fuel rail pressure [mbar] plus 1000 [mbar] minus absolute MAP [mbar]
