Written by Rotax Owner

To mark the 25th anniversary of the Rotax 912 engine family
the engine that changed light aviation
BRP is organizing the second Rotax Fly-In.

First organized in 2008, the 2014 Rotax Fly-In will take place from June 5 to 7, 2014 at the airport in Wels, Upper Austria, in cooperation with the Aero Club Weisse Moewe Wels.

More than 135 pilots from 15 countries participated in the first event in 2008.

One of the highlights will be a visit of the BRP facility in Gunskirchen where Rotax engines are developed and manufactured.

With more than 170,000 engines sold in almost 40 years, Rotax aircraft engines dominate
the light sport and ultra-light aircraft industry. With 19 authorized distributors and a network
of more than 200 sales and repair centres, BRP supports customers worldwide and supplies
engines to more than 80% of all aircraft manufacturers in its segment.
