Hello People,

I have a Rotax 914 in a low wing airplane (Europa XS), the engine is fed fuel by two electrical pumps (in serie). If the pumps fail (for example with an electrical failure) then there is no fuel pressure left to feed the engine and the engine will stop because of fuel starvation.
There seems to be no back-up, or at least I can't find it in the Rotax Manual.
Yesterday I was running some ground tests and tested what would happen if I switched the pumps off, and indeed the engine stopped.
Is there anyone with thoughts about this matter?

Kind Regards, Renz
