information on 618 and freebird LS

new to the forum and new to this engine. New to the sport. I bought an unfinished project from a widow and I want to bring her husbands dream and my dream,to fruitation. I need as much information as I can get for this type of engine and aircraft. I've never worked on a 2 stroke, so I'm a babe in the wilderness. I have a type 618 powerplant, which I believe is complete. To start with, I could use an owners manual and rebuilders manual. And last, but not least, is there anybody out there that can connect me with other FREEBIRD owners?
