    Hallo

Yes we swopped the carbs, and it seemed to work.
it lasted for a few hours, then last week we had an engine failure after take off.
With throttle fully open the engine seems to hunt alot.high and low refs, eventually we couldnt maintain climb and had to land. inspected everything and could not find a fault.

What gets me thou is ,that when its idling for a while, fuel starts to drip out from the venting tube on the carburetor.

I think swopping the carbs did make a difference,we just have to get the mixture right now?

Think I would be looking at the needle cut off valves.

It seems very unlucky to have problems on both the old carbs and the new ones. Did you transfer the carb 'furniture' such as jets, needles and floats to the new carbs, or is that stuff all different too?

Are the jets and needles etc all standard and as recommended by Rotax for your engine? If so, the mixture should look after itself.
