My Rotax 582 blue head is not starting after warm up. In fact trying to start it cold takes a while for both cylinders to fire smoothly.
The forward float bowl is half full and the aft one is full. All the floats are in great condition. No signs of debris in either carb. I have not changed any settings or parts. Only 40 hours on the engine. The forward spark plugs are dry and the aft ones are wet when I pull them.
I'm going to take them apart and reassemble to see what happens.
Any suggestions are welcome

In any case its is one cylinder and it could be electrical as the black one aint firing....wet

but check the choke circuit just in case its flooding

This engine has been run all summer. Floats are good. I use no alcohol 90 octane gas. My engine was hard to start after warming up. Now it won't start. This weekend I'll take the carbs apart and clean with carb cleaner and see if any debris is choking the gas. With the bowls off, gas flows well.

I got it started after cleaning the carbs but, now I really have to manage the throttle and primer. My procedure is to give the primer 4 squirts and open the throttle a little and pull the starter rope, if it catches slightly, just before it quits I give it another shot and wiggle the throttle, then another shot before it quits, then another shot before it quits, sometimes as many as 5 or 6 shots from the primer, then it catches and I can idle the engine from 1800 to 2300 rpm. It is as if one of the cylinders is not getting any fuel. Eventually it fires up and runs fine. FYI I did have the oil reserve tank mount crack this weekend and the motor mount on the carb side broke this summer. I think there is too much vibration from the engine. Any help would be great. After I get the oil tank mount welded I'll try to make a video of what I go through to start the engine.
