503 Problems???

First time posting, hello all!
Here are my Specs:
• Quicksilver MXL
• 503 DCDI w/ 10 hours after rebuild
• Single Bing 54 Carb
• Tennessee Prop 52x34 prop
• New Westach single needle gauges, sensors and wiring
• Main Jet 272
• Needle 15K2
• 93 Octane w/ 10% Ethyl
I think I'm having problems with my temps and GPH and need some other opinions.
#2 notch (from top) on the needle was giving me 375/1150 @ 5200 RPM and was around 3.25 GPH
#3 needle setting is 350/1100 @ 5200 RPM, but now my GPH is 5.25
I also noticed while on the ground the other day, I accidentally touched the gauge pod and the needles changed, @ 3000 RPM it was a CHT -50 and EGT -100. I can only assume it similar to that while in the air, but with normal vibration between me and the MXL, I can get that difference to show up in the air.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
