Sparkplug and sparkplug connector

Hi there,
I have a 582 on my AC Clipper.
Default it had a sparkplug BR8ES with a 5K resistor inside and Bosch sparkplug connector with a 1K resistor.
I replaced the sparkplug conn with one with a 5K resistor inside.
Should I now use a sparkplug with no resistor inside?? or is the total value not that important??

The stock NGK spark plug caps are a LB05EZ with a 5K resistor and the appropriate spark plug is a NGK BR8ES with non-removable/non-threaded end cap. Do not use spark plugs with removable threaded end caps.

The proper gap is .018 - .020"

Stick with stock components and you cant go wrong!
