Charging coil winding information

in 2 Stroke Technical Questions 4 years ago

Hi All

I have a ROTAX 535C engine that had some problems that were traced to the charging coils.

I have a person who can rewind the coils, but will need information on number of winds etc (tech stuff that I dont know).

I cannot find anything in the repair manual (dated July 1984).

Can anyone assist please.

    That information is going to be proprietary.

    They will be happy to sell you a new one if one could be found, but no-way are they ever going to tell you how to rewind one.

    That would be counter productive on Corporate, Marketing, and Legal Liability levels to name a few.

     

    You are going to have to Reverse-Engineer one to get your answers.
