So I have a gray head 582 SN#4317277purchased new in 1995.  It has 160 hours on it, one hour at a time.  I'm going to pull the head to do a decarbonization service on it and check the piston rings. As far as I know, this has never been done.  Will also replace the ignition wires.

It was stored for over 10 years in a very dry environment.  I have completely gone through the engine replacing all rubber and all fluids. I have personally run it for about an hour and the aircraft was flown at this past Bensen Days. I plan on looking for any corrosion inside the engine if any found, then an overhaul will be in order.

Other than that, I plan on another 140 hours before an overhaul or perhaps just a new 582.
