I recently installed the new style trigger coils. Pushed them clockwise, gapped as specified, etc. There are two depths on the respective channels, one is interior and the other exterior. Everything seems to be in order, except the triggers that sit exterior don't line up very well with the flywheel.

It's real close and I suspect it will work, but it doesn't look quite right.

Anyone with experience on this?

The angle of the photo can be deceiving, making it appear that the trigger coil pickup is sticking out further than it actually is. We've taken photos of the trigger pickups on two different engines, one with the old style and one with the new style (both correctly set up). Depending on the viewing angle and how the camera is positioned, they can appear to stick out more or less. (The upper trigger coils A1/2 and A3/4 (raised approx. 5 mm (0.20 in.)

That being said, your trigger coil pick-up depth appears to be normal.
