replacing coil HT wire

Mine have been cut back a couple of times and one is a bit tight so I am thinking of replacing all of them. Do the coil packs have to be removed to replace the wire? Does the wire screw in to the coil like on the plug caps? Can I buy bulk HT wire at Spruce or ??

Yes, they just screw in at the coil end in the same way that they screw into the plug caps. I did mine without removing the coils. I think that they were 7mm copper cored HT cable. I cannot remember the total length that I needed for all 8 cables.
