Adding resistor to 914 fuel pumps?
I seem to remember something about adding a resistor to the 914 fuel pumps, I'm wiring them in now and can't find the dang reference. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Steve,
I think you are referring to the requirement for a capacitor to be installed at each pump.
Pages from the installation manual attached.
Here’s a link to service instruction SI-914-035 referring to the “new” style pumps. If they are the style you have, it additionally calls for a ferrite core to be installed.

Thanks Des, as soon as I left my hangar I remembered it was a capacitor, not a resistor, which makes the installation a lot easier. I have the older style pump nib with the ring terminals.
