I’m using the rubber gaskets on a 914 and a 912s. No issues for 5 years now and they seal very well.

The cork gaskets usually come from the Mfg Bing. Rotax doesn't use those. Just order two new rubber type gaskets from a Rotax service center. The huge majority of Rotax owners use the rubber type. They should last for a long time. Be careful when putting them in place and make sure you don't pinch them wit when you secure the carb bowl.

And weigh those floats while they’re out, you have the new floats, correct?

If installing the float bowl gaskets, in situ, use a smear of grease to hold the gasket in place & give the float bowl a little wiggle to "seat" gasket before clipping up😈
