914 TCU Caution light blinking
Hi all,
We've been working on installing the throttle cable on a 914 in a SeaRey, last night when I booted the airplane up I got a blinking TCU Caution light. Get the normal startup flash of the Caution//Warning lamps and the servo appears to cycle, then about a minute later the Caution lamp starts flashing.
There's a whole rabbit's nest of things it could be in the manual, thought I'd ask and see if there might be a simple solution before I went down the rabbit hole. Engine has never been run, I cycled the TCU cutout switch, no difference.
data point: servo does not move when power applied.
update: Just talked to Dean at Lockwood (where I bought my engine), he wants me to do some basic trouble shooting requiring downloading BRP Utility and Diagnostic Software B.U.D.S. software, but fears the servo is dead. I'll need a USB-RS232 able and extension.
Thanks
