recently bought a tecnam p92 with low hrs. powered by 912 uls. on t/o tach reads 5100 climbs out very well.lvel cruise is usually around 4000 rpm. is it caused by to much pitch on prop?

If the engine is running well otherwise, it sounds very much like a pitch problem.

    Hi Thomas,

I'm a little confused. Are you climbing out at 5100 rpm and then in flat and level cruise the max rpm is only 4000? Climb rpm is usually always lower than WOT flat and level.
If it develops 5100 WOT on climb out and only gets 4000 WOT in level cruise then it isn't pitch or it wouldn't get 5100 on climb out. If this is really the case then a fuel flow issue may be present.
I think we need a little more info.
