Hi, I hope that someone can help me, I have a 912 that has a slight miss vibration at low revs, this is what I have tried so far, all recommended by Bert Floods.
Recon gearbox
New soft start modules,
Tried new carbys.
New coils
New spark plugs
Checked lifters
Muffler
New leads.

It is so frustrating and my lame is pulling is hair out trying to sort this out.
If anybody has something else I can try I most grateful

What rpm are we talking about when you say low revs? Is this on the ground or in the air? Some engines at a specific rpm around 3500 rpm have a slight roughness when you pull back in flight compared to higher or lower rpms. A gearbox that needs a re-shim or detailed inspection can cause this. A poor carb sync can cause this. Plugs at the wrong gap. Use .023 to .027 for the gap.

The revs are about 2200-2400, the gear box has just had full rebuild, spark plug gaps spot on. When it does this it only lasts for about 5 secs and returns 40 secs later.

Have you done a recent carb sync at idle and around 3500 rpm?

Yeah Roger we have sync the carbys, even tried another set of carbys but no difference, really don't know where to go next.
