the ASM was introduced Aug 2009 on the 100hp
It was standardized on all 912/912S & 914 engines in Jan 2014.

I don't remember the date when the engine's switched to the new soft start modules, but after that time all engines come with them.

Rob can probably remember better than I can when the new modules were going on engines from the factory.

I just had to replace engine with a newer model uls

This one looks like it has the soft start built in but no one on this subject mentioned the extra wiring kit.

Do I have to order it?

If you need the two wires from the modules that go to the starter solenoid then you can use your own wire and just buy from a Rotax service center the metal connectors the plug into the modules plastic plugs. The other end you can use your own spade connector. This procedure is fairly easy to do. Very straight forward.
