I have a 100 hp 912. It has run great for 600 hours. I do an oil analysis at every oil change. The copper (and all other elements) concentration has remained the same for about 500 hours. Suddenly the copper concentration has jumped up about 15% for the last two oil changes. I do the oil change after the same number hours each time. The engine still runs great. No noticeable changes. Where could the copper be coming from? What part in the engine is made out of copper?
