    It shuts off on the ground. In the beginning it did not. After trying everything described above, I decided it mus be ignition from carbon but as I said earlier, I had it borscoped and did not see carbon build up. However I decided to use some 100LL for a while. After I started this thread it started to stop when on the ground as it normally did. I am continuing to use 100LL for the short term to see if things improve. There are some small carbon deposits but I am told that is normal.. I was in a siminar in KOSH and the Rotax guy said I should use 87 octane. I a using 93 no alcohol no lead because I have an RV7A and use the same fuel. I have absolutely no build up in the RV7. Is is totally clean.

    In short, right now I am running the engine hard for a while using the 100LL. I will bore scope it in a few more hours to see what it looks like. So anyone that has input let me know. I do not have an answer. If I get the problem solved I will let you know.
