Is Swift fuel 94 acceptable for the rotax 912UL?

    Swift UL94 (94 MON = ~100 AKI) is a direct unleaded replacement for 100LL.

The 912UL wants 89 AKI UL MoGas so it is way more than acceptable.

Rotax may not have stated this specifically but there is no reason to believe that an engine that will run on 89UL MoGas and 100LL AvGas, will not be happy with 94 UL Swift AvGas.
    I would not hesitate!

Bring your local gas from a gas station on the way to the airport, and use 100LL or 94UL when needed at cross country airports.

    From The SWIFT Site...

This proprietary unleaded fuel formulation (94UL) is a blend of hydrocarbons designed to meet the fuel specification standards of ASTM D7592, D7547, and D4814. This fuel is FAA-certified for use in up to 65% of the US piston fleet; up to 100,000 aircraft are already certified to use the fuel based upon existing Type Certificates and/or Autogas STC's. An additional 25,000+ aircraft, those whose engines are rated for minimum Grade 91/96 Avgas, are eligible to purchase an FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the use of Unleaded UL94 Avgas...[/quote]

I agree with Bill that the fuel is fine. I know several who have been using it for a while.
