After many test, hesitation, discussion with friends... I have found!
When I squeeze the jacket around the electric wires coming out of the electronic module (CDI) it works normally, or the default appears (it is like a switch!); So, most probably, one electric cable inside is broken. And this explained why it is intermittent default.
I have sent this module to CARMO ELECTRONICS in Netherland for control and fixing.
    Happy end!

    Thanks Roger for your support.

    Hi Eric,
Glad you found your electrical ghosts.

This isn't that uncommon. Depending on how the wire bundle is secured and and occasionally how it was crimped the vibration can cause a bad or broken wire at the wire connection crazy mp. When having a difficult time finding an electrical problem it's usually a good idea to check this spot.

How was your experience with Carmo Electronics? Were they able to repair your modules? I have similar problems with my modules except that they occasionally will not start my engine at all. Ice packs on them or colder weather (winter) seem to help.

I have recently used Carmo to have 2 modules fixed with different faults. One had the temperature related issue where it won't always start the engine. Carmo had them both tested, repaired and returned to the UK in about a week from when I first sent them. I refitted them and the faults were fixed. Repair wasn't cheap but a lot less than a couple of new modules. I also asked them to upgrade the modules so that any potentially unreliable components were uprated. I have only heard good things about Carmo and their service was good. Over here in the UK many owners have had to have their ignition modules repaired by Carmo. The UK Rotax agent hasn't always been easy to deal with lately so a repair has been preferable to replacement according to some that I have spoken to.

Excellent. Great review, thank you! Did they upgrade any components for you?
