Proper torque for float bowl retaining screw

I had my plane get a 100 hour service recently and the engine is stumbling at full power. The shop that did the work said I should retighten the float bowl screw to 35 in. lbs. I noticed on the rotax owner video, that the recommendation is 48 lbs. inch. Has this 48 inch been updated to 35? Or am I mixing different numbers?

the correct torque is 5.5 nm (approx 49 inch lbs)
See Heavy Maint manual ch 73-00-00 sec 3.3.7

Thank you Rob. I checked back in with the Rotax shop, and what I'm hearing from them is that the spec has changed to 35. But I haven't seen that in any bulletins.

Side note: I found out the hard way that over-tightening the 914 carb bowl retaining nuts can deform the bottom of the bowl ever so slightly, causing float guide rods inside to splay outward and create a float binding situation. The clearance between side wall and floats is very tight. End result is float bowl overfilling leading to raw fuel entering the intakes and cylinders. Lesson learned.

I ran into the same issue that we eventually figured out. Engine quit on takeoff as we came out of turbo, resulting in a hard landing, but luckily, no injury. 2014 Rotax 914 engine was flooding, and found that one of the floats was getting stuck between the slide rod and the side of the float chamber. Rebuilt carbs 60 hours prior and had only torqued to 35 inch pounds. Adjusted the slide rods and problem resolved.
