I don’t know how old the engine is, but it may have a .9 bar cap. This was replaced years ago to a 1.2 bar cap. About 18 psi and like others stated it may just need a new cap.

    Thanks Roger
On My other issue .Left side ignition drops more RPM than the right and triggers my tach to blink. I am starting with plugs 1 and 2 top then I will do the bottom 3 and 4. If that doesn't work go to caps and wires?
The plane is about a 2003-04 Most likely everything but the plugs are original.

Left side drops about 200 and the right about 80 at 3800. They were pretty even then I replaced the tach with a digital one and it starts blinking if the rpm varies more than 120 . I don't exactly how it works but it starts blinking several times during a flight and just reset it.
I started with replacing 2 plugs on 1 and 2 top did not solve it so I will change 3 and 4 bottom next.

I had an unstable tach readout on my Dynon EFIS. I put in a 20K ohm resistor in the tach wire as recommended by Dynon and the problem went completely away.
