Bill thanks for that link to the coolant discussion.
I have a different problem being the owner of an ELA gyrocopter. That Spanish company insists on connecting their Rotax engines to the rearward radiator with a brass or copper 20mm pipe on both sides. In this case several of the common coolants are not recommended when there are copper metals associated with the coolant path. I use Nulon long life coolants and change them out every 2 years. We also connect our radiator caps to earth to protect that rather expensive to replace expansion tank if electrolysis gets involved.

    Regards.........Chook.

So, this past weekend I had the top cowl off. What looked like PINK coolant now looks ORANGE after taking off the reserve bottle cap and looking down with a flashlight. I guess my job just got easier, rather then having to source Pink or red coolant, I can add DEX-COOL, which is ORANGE, correct? And, I can get it 50-50 pre-mixed?

Dex Cool 50/50 orange is their extended life coolant. If you just want to top off you could also use distilled water.
