    Hans,

Can please tell us the part numbers you order from them and the connectors?

    Thank You!

    Dan

Hi Harri I have a similar situation with my CDI boxes. I also have the older style Rotax 912 with part number 865358 and would like to upgrade these boxes as I currently have a hot prop with no grounding problems. Did you end up ordering boxes from Ignitech and if so what configuration do you ask for?

During a recent run up and mag check we discovered one ignition module was bad. This 912ULS has the older 6 and 4 pin connectors and a single replacement module can set a guy back nearly a $1000.
A forum member pointed me in direction of a Barnstormers add for replacement aftermarket modules and which can be found at https://www.barnstormers.com/classified-1604831-Rotax-CDI...
These come with longer wires to get the module away from the heat and vibration of the stock location on top of the engine and as a extra bonus a built in soft start. After mounting the ignition on the fire wall the first start was immediate and smooth and we picked up about 200 rpms in climb out.

    Hi Scott,

Pardon the intrusion - just wondering if you're still happy with the replacement ignition modules you got from the Barnstomer's vendor? I have a new 914F, 1996 model but new. Currently has the 965 358 modules with the 4-pin plugs, so wondering the best way to upgrade. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated.

BTW, what plane did you install in?

    Best,

    Dan
