5 year rubber replacement-true need?

Is the 5 year rubber replacement truly mandatory?

    Just remember a new engine is around $23K and you can't pull over to the curb. It's far better to be safe than sorry especially if you don't want to face the liability of injuring someone in your plane or on the ground. It isn't that tough to do.

    Remember the old saying:

    An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.
