Thanks again, Jeff. I saw those before buying a traditional version. I was reluctant to get one not knowing anyone that had used one. If you’re saying you’ve had good experience with it, I think I’ll get one. For me, it’s insurance. If I have one, I won’t need it, but if I don’t…

We also got a T handled compression adapter that would not start. It seemed like the treads were the wrong pitch. If you use 100ll fuel a lot, it can make lead deposits on the plugs last treads and if you don’t carefully turn them back and forth with penetrating oil you can strip the treads in the head

Thanks for the suggestion, but he’s used almost exclusively MOGAS, maybe 40 gals in 200 hrs, and no AVGAS since his CI in September when the plugs were last removed.
