Thank you for your response. Your explanation aligns exactly with the process and answers that I've been thinking. I'd rather not crack that 38 mm hex nut for no reason. Next step is testing the airflow through the oil spray nozzle using a special Rotax test tool. But I digress, and that will be another topic.
