Just for information since it has become one of my easy fixes.

With perceived electrical generator problems, I am on my second set of fuse box relays with one engine of my total four 912iS all totaling about 8000 hours of operation.

Instead of checking the generators and tracing the problem as a failed generator/stater, popped in 3 new relays and poof, everything worked great. I guess the relays do the switching of the generators so bad relays can drop a generator.........

Easy fix....

That makes sense.  While I’ve never seen an internal wiring diagram for the fusebox, I’ve always assumed that each generator uses one relay to connect/disconnect it to the engine electrical buss, and the third relay is used to connect generator B to the airframe buss (once’s it’s disconnected from the engine buss).  These relays switch under a load so the contacts may eventually degrade.
