Fuel Flow .5 gph on approach

Rotax 912iS inflight idle causes the fuel flow to drop to .5 gph and turns the Dynon HDX fuel flow indicator RED.
On approach to counter this indication, I raise the RPM slightly and the indicator RED indication returns to Normal.
Should I raise the Ground idle RPM?
My ground idle RPM is 1650 rpm.
