Does anyone know if the ECU generates warning messages regarding abnormal engine conditions and can this information be pushed onto the CAN bus to provide in flight real time warnings to the pilot via Dynon and MGL units?

For example, the Rotax ambient pressure and airbox pressure signals can be used to derive the possibility of a plugged airfilter and this information is apparently displayed on the Stock Flight systems EMU. Is the Stock EMU doing the calculation or is the Rotax ECU it?

I guess the ECU must be trapping fuel injector and ignition problems but can it push these to the CAN bus where a Dynon or other EFIS can read and display them?

Personally, if the ECU traps engine faults, I would like to know about it in real time if it is relevant to continued safe flight. For example, I fly in remote areas, ignition or injector problems are going to see me diverting to somewhere with service capabilities immediately. A user serviceable part like a blocking fuel or air filter, not so much.
