There is a bulletin on this. It is a highly recommend procedure to use wire ties to hold the sensors in place on the 912iS airbox. Vibration can make them give a false indication even though they don't come lose. The computers read what the engine is doing 10 times per second for the life of the engine. At that rate just a small vibration at the right moment that may cause a faulty connection will get picked up.

The picture posted is a good way to do this. Make sure you do all 4 sensors.

Robert, I have not seen the bulletin Roger mentions. I was at an aviation event and mentioned my lane warning light problem to a
Rotax rep who told me about the fix. He e-mailed me the photo seen in the attachment.

I could not find the service bulletin either. I will try the wire ties today.

I have a 912is in a CTLSi. After 20-25 minutes of flight the Lane B light comes on. It did it 3 times last Sunday.

    Hi Robert,

I have a friend at my field that has a CTLSi and his Lane B light would come on intermittently too. Just secure the sensors on the airbox with wire ties like the picture shows and my money says your light will cease to come on. For people that either don't have these sensors wire tied or don't have them done well vibration can make the Lane B light show up.

This was one of the most common reasons for the Lane B to pop on.

I have a 2013 CTLSi. Sometime last year started experiencing Lane B Light coming on and staying on for remainder of flight. Would happen somewhere between 20 and 50 minutes into the flight. The error log indicated a manifold pressure issue. FD recommended the tie-wrap solution which I did at recent annual. No issues since then in three flights.
