Maintenance mode in B.U.D.S. level 2

for starters you might remove the program from your computer and then download it again, after insuring you  have a high quality  internet connection. Also do the lane lights go gray when you remove the power to the ECU? Do you have the correct baud rate selected?

Thanks for your reply. I will try to re-install the software.  I don't remember if the lights go gray but I think it is. I'll check tomorrow when I'll be near the plane.

Regarding the baud rate. there are a few options. How do I know which rate to choose?

the baud rate is 500Kbps. There are some service instructions concerning the B.U.D.S. program; SI-912i-002R1,SI912i-002R2, and SI-912i-003R4. They are available at the Rotax web site.

Note that when you do the downloading of the BUDS data you must have patience. When it asks you to turn on, off etc, wait........ Takes longer than you think. Even after the downloading you have to wait when it sez 100 percent done.  I suffered from the lack of patience at first. Give it time......
