Hi all. I wonder if someone had the same fenome.

Before engine start - fuel pressure is ok. After starting, fuel pressure drop to 2.6bar.

All tests done with above 14V

Fuel pressure sensor is in good condition and checked with another analogue gauge.

After disconnected the pipe between the airbox and the pressure regulator, all fine, pressure stayed 2.9,in both - stop and running engine.

Next I operate the engine with the pipe and w/o the air filter - pressure drop.

So the conclusion is that something happens in the airbox.

The question is what do you think about this fenome?

What Gauge Make/Model are you using to measure the fuel pressure ???
Are you using a Differential (D) Pressure sensor or a "Gauge" (G) Pressure sensor ???
How are you accounting for the MAP pressure ???

The 912is regulates its pressure at 3 Bar ABOVE Airbox (MAP) pressure which varies with the throttle.
Your Fuel Pressure measurement needs to take the MAP pressure into account either physically (D) or Electronically (G) otherwies the indication is going to be low and varing with every throttle change.

    This is all completely normal.

does anyone have an idea where to find a 5bar differential fuel pressure sensor?

does Rotax have a recomended one?
