I have a 915 with the same problem I never let it get even to 1700 but any rpm over 5000 for any length of time makes the exhaust temps go up I will certainly check mine out and hopefully this is the same problem. If this resolves it I will post again. This forum is a wealth of information. I am now flying my 2nd Cavalon with over 1400 hrs in the 2 aircraft and still loving every minute.
