My Hobbs on my Montaer MC-01 has stopped working.. it has a ROTAX 915is.  Preliminary troubleshooting indicated that it may be a bad oil pressure switch.  Maybe I'm dumb but I can't find the part number in the 915is Parts Manual to order a new one if further testing indicates that is really the issue. Can  you Rotax wizards out thier point in the right direction or find the part number?

Check pages 115 and 116 of the Illustrated Part’s Catalog.

Thanks.  Found that one but it seems to be the oil pressure sensor for the instrument panel not the one what triggers the Hobbs.  Either that or I am reading the diagram wrong.

Hmmmmm.....my A&P friend says that it is not a "Sensor" but an Oil Pressure Switch witch may be an after market item and not a ROTAX part.  I guess that is because a Hobbs is not a required item and is used for convenience for logbook time keeping.

Any builders out there installed a Hobbs in a 915is? What switch part did you use?
