ECO/POWER MODE

Hello,

I hope you are well. The 915 manual has a section called ECO/POWER mode. What exactly does this mean? Do we need to be in this performance mode specifically during takeoff or hovering? Does the engine make this distinction automatically? Can I switch to POWER mode before problematic situations arise for high performance? I wish you safe flying. Thanks for helping me.

    It is automatic as the manual says.  It is simply telling you what the ECU is doing at different power levels.  This is very common in electronically controlled engines.  Most cars also go into a much richer mixture at full throttle to prevent detonation and ensure maximum power.
