915is Replacement fuel pump

I'm curious to know this answer as well.  Have you tried contacting either California Power Systems or Lockwood Aviation to see if they have an answer?

Both cal power and Lockwood said end of November if manufactured, tested and no problems. We will be lucky to actually see them by then based on history so far. I have a similar thread on the 912iS regarding the fuel pump which I am also waiting for.

I do not know about and AD, but there is an ASB (Alert Service Bulletin) issued 10 Oct 2019

Section "1.5) Compliance" RECOMMENDS ...

"... Replacement of the fuel pump assemblies listed in section 1.1., according to the instructions in Chapter 3 before next flight, but at the latest by October 31st, 2020

NOTE: Any further operation (such as ferry flight) is at the operator's and/or aircraft manufacturer's own discretion/risk. "

You have until next October to get it replaced and nothing says you are grounded unless you ground yourself.

It would be mandatory if you have a certified version of the engine, if it is an experimental, you can fly it as long as you wish.

Have the new pumps started shipping?
