Got it. I'm no longer worried about what I originally reported and understand that it's a non-issue when the engine isn't running, even if the excursion is hotter than the specified limits for when the engine is running. But I would still like to establish that the correct operating limits are set on my G3X, which is not the case according to the first response. Autogyro says 80C is only correct for the C24 915s but that 50C is correct for the A-series. But from what I see on the Rotax website, 80C is currently the correct guideline for both. At this point I'm simply looking to make sure the programmed liimits are aligned to the current manufacturer's guidance.

We just realized that Rotax changed the manifold temperatures to 50C (122F) in the latest operator's manual for the 915i A AND 915 iA C24 engine. https://www.rotax-owner.com/pdf/OM_915iAC24Series.pdf

The manual reference we previously provided where the manifold temperatures stated 80C (176F) was outdated, and we apologize for this! We don't know why the temperature was changed back to 50C (122F) from 80C (176F), and we will look into this!

We will be removing the outdated 915iS operators manual from our library.
