The turbocharger on my Rotax 916 IS failed flying back from KHMB to KCXP on May 23. The turbine wheel appears to have sheared off from the shaft. The oil system is fine and it passes the scavenge pump test. The engine has 32 hours TTSN. Does anyone have any ideas what might have caused this?
