Any tips on refilling a coolant system after drain&flush where the radiator cap is not the high point of the system? I feel like the high point radiator is going to be a giant air pocket...
Thanks much -

Wow!
Random thoughts';
Can you disconnect the highest point hose, from the radiator and fill from there?
Rig up a pressure fill system?

If the coolant reservoir is higher than the expansion tank then just drain the reservoir and then you can open the pension tank cap. Once the system is filled then put coolant back in the reservoir.

I wish it was. Sadly it is not. One guy suggested seeing if I raise the nose wheel off the ground if I can get the cap to become the high point. Going to try that.

Great minds think alike! That's what I asked the manufacturer about, but they didn't seem to understand the issue. I can actually disconnect the hose that feeds the highest point from the metal tube with the cap on it and raise it up to fill as the high point. Might try that second after feedback I got on another site to raise the nose wheel up so that the cap becomes the high point. Hopefully between the two approaches, one will do the trick. Thanks for the thoughts!

I would install a "flushing tee" at the high point, then use that for filling.
