"If needed the 1" coolant hose can be purchased with a 90 degree bend. Some aircraft Mfg's put an aluminum tube in the hose at a bend or a spring. They all seem to work."
Check out the Gates part numbers I listed above;
Should come up with pre bent hoses, of varying leg length, 90 & 135 degree bends.
Purpose made, very secure joiners, specifically for their 25 mm ID hose - no need to muck around with bits of aluminium tube.
Pilots should realise that adding bits of aluminium tube, to a cooling system is adding an unknown, potentially reactive piece of metal. You can avoid this potential, by using the Gates or other purpose built joiners.
