Thank you for your help.
I have bought a new regulator and installed it.Unfortunately the wires where cut so I am having trouble sorting out the wiring.
I have 2 main wires coming out of the "alternator" which go to the 2 left hand connections on the regulator.(marked c and c) The only other wires I have come off the battery..2 off... 1 off which goes to the connecter marked batt on regulator.
Where does the other on go?I also have 2 thin wires (1 white and 1 white and blue..I think) coming out of the "alternator" which have been cut.Not sure where they go
Can you help?

    Robert,

The yellow wires go to G and G. It doesn't matter which goes to which. R, B+, and C all go to battery positive. L is for the panel warning light and goes from L to C through the lamp.

Download the installation manual under the support tab and go to section 17. It has a complete schematic and explanation for the regulator/rectifier.

Not sure about the white and white/blue wires.

    Bill.

    Robert,

There are two wires out of the alternator which go to the revolution counter which are white/yellow and blue/yellow.
