Just wondering if I can use Oetiker carburation clamps for the oil lines? I can't seem to find fuel injection clamps large enough to fit over the oil lines. My concern is the pressure on the oil lines is considerably higher as compared to the fuel line pressure. Thx.

    Hi Terry,

The correct size Oetiker clamps will work.

    These aren't large enough?

Hi Roger, no this is still too small. The O.D. of the hose from Rotax that they sent to me is 3/4" so I probably need a .78" clamp which I cannot find anywhere. Guess I will have to use the Oetiker clamps. Thx. for your help again.

Correct me if I'm wrong but my understanding is that there is no positive pressure in the oil lines, they are all at negative pressure, except the oil feed to the turbo on the 914.

    Correct you are.

May be easier to change hose? I usually get my oil hose from California Power Systems. It is made by Parker for high temp and pressure even though there isn't really any pressure here. The clamps I posted fit that hose.
