Amsoil interceptor

I purchased a powered parachute with a 582 Rotax. The previous owner said that he was using amsoil oil. I ordered amsoil interceptor and realized that it is honey colored oil versus the deep blue that is currently in the machine. My question is three fold. First, is it a good idea to switch to amsoil interceptor at all. Second, if I do switch, should I change the rotary valve oil to interceptor as well. Third, is interceptor okay for the rotary valve?
note: the engine only has 34 hours on it.
Any advice is much appreciated.
