Gates Barricade

I used the Gates fuel line when I did my replacement a couple years ago and have not had any issues. Not sure what to tell you about the fire-sleeve but we didn't have any issues.

The interior of the "barricade" type fuel lines is designed to minimize vapor permeation.  It's mainly a save-the-environment thing. It should not be a problem for you to use.

If you want the really good stuff, A1-15 marine fuel hose (also available from Gates) is more heat resistant, and actually flame resistant to USCG standards.

I've used gate Barricade fuel hose for 15 years and never had an issue. I have used it on well over a hundred Rotax engine rubber changes. I don't use the fuel injection hose for the standard 912 ul or ULS. Using the fuel injection hose which is a little stiffer in composition from the vapor hose or what some call carburetion hose cause scraping and particles when pushed over barbed fittings. I know you're not supposed to use barbed fittings, but most owners and many aircraft Mfg's do use them. The fuel vapor hose as they call it is a tad more flexible and rated to 50 psi. The UL and ULS fuel pressures are usually between 3.5 psi - 5.5 psi. so using this hose is not a problem. When doing a rubber change on the 912iS engine I do use all the preformed Rotax hoses and use only fuel injection hose rated up to 225 psi.
