Hello group, I am changing my fuel lines and rebuilding carburetors, and my question is about the firesleeve?

can this be reused I’ve already gleaned Information from the blogs on the bandit clamps and have found the fire sleeve tape for the ends! , just remove easily from the existing lines once removed, The only other question I’m not sure of is what size Autoker clamps would I use for a 5/16 inch fuel line, I am using the gate barricade line as posted ! I’m in the process of getting all the parts and accessories I need prior to start any information or help would be most appreciated thank you much blue sky‘s ALL!

Yes you fire sleeve can be re-used. The “End Wrap” on the fire sleeve is good. I use #10 fire sleeve for 1/4” fuel hose, #12 for 5/16” fuel hose and #14 for oil hose. You could just use #12 for both size fuel hose.

Two different sizes for the 5/16” Oetiker clamps depending on the fitting it goes over. For a barbed fitting it is 15.7mm and for an AN smooth bore fitting 14.5

    p.s.

    Oetiker clamps
