Is the AVC1 a true drop-in replacement for the Rotax Ducati regulator in an SLSA?

It's advertised as such, with some additional output adjustment features

Be careful... an S-LSA cannot be modified except with the written approval of its manufacturer.  If you convert it to E-LSA (via the local FDSO or a DAR), then you're free to do what you want.

Be real careful here. The new Operating Limitations may not be the same for everyone.  Even though the DAR's put in new required language in your new ELSA Operating Limitations they have leeway to add or subtract some items. I know several SLSA that went to ELSA and then read down all the new Operating Limitations. Their DAR's put in that they must abide by all MFG's parts replacement programs (i.e. the 5 year rubber change) and others had written that they could not alter the aircraft without a FSDO's sign off.

New Operating Limitations can have differences depending on the DAR.
