Yes, original carb serial numbers are registered with the engine.

You could contact your local distributor, or request a lookup in this thread

Thanks Bill I have posted on the thread last week and still no reply I'm trying to sort an issue here and wondered if there was a more direct email or access cheers

This website is NOT an Official Rotax Factory Website. 
It is run as a courtesy of the Canadian Rotax Distributor on a when-convenient basis.
I know we all get used to instant answers.
The ADMIN does an admirable job of getting us timely answers but it is not his Bread-and-Butter paying day job.
I would give you the answer if I knew it, but the Factory Database is restricted to the Distributors.
